How to request a dedicated IP
A dedicated IP address is a private IP that is only associated with one account and not shared with others. Dedicated IPs help to improve deliverability for high-volume sending by giving you individual control of your sender reputation. This is compared with shared IPs which share the responsibility of maintaining the sender reputation among multiple accounts.
Dedicated IP addresses are available as an add-on for high-volume senders.
To be eligible for a dedicated IP, your account must meet the following criteria:
Have at least 1 authenticated domain
Send 500,000 or more emails per month.
If this applies to you, get in touch with our customer service team via email or chat to discuss whether a dedicated IP is right for your business.
If our assessment shows that a dedicated IP address would be beneficial, we’ll get to work enabling and warming up the IP for you so it’s ready for you to start sending. This process can take from 1 to 8 weeks. Pricing is $50/month.
Accounts that are best suited should be sending a minimum of 50,000 emails per day as this is the optimal level of sending to protect your sender reputation and avoid mailbox throttling. For best performance, we suggest one dedicated IP for every 10 million emails per month.
