Symfony integration now supports webhooks V2
If you send with Symfony's MailerSend bridge, it now understands our webhook V2 events. You can move to V2 without breaking your webhook handling.
Update templates without resending the whole body
You can now rename a template or change its tags, categories, or domain through the API or MCP without sending the full HTML and text again. The auto_generate option for plain text also works as documented.
Smoother MailerSend MCP experience
The MailerSend MCP is now more reliable and easier for AI assistants to use. We fixed validation errors, improved how it handles activity data, and added a skill that teaches assistants how to use it. What's more, the MCP can now tell you how far back your activity data goes, so it picks a valid date range the first time. That means fewer failed requests when you ask about past activity. And finally, you can check your API quota by asking how many API requests you have left and when your quota resets. It's handy before a big send or when you're working out why requests are being limited.
WhatsApp sending in the MailerSend MCP
You can now send WhatsApp template messages straight from Claude or any other MCP-connected client, no separate integration needed. It works the same way SMS sending already does, including support for personalized message content.

The Hobby plan now includes 10 email templates
We've increased the number of templates on the Hobby plan from 3 to 10 to make the Hobby plan more usable for low-volume senders that need to send multiple types of transactional emails. If you're subscribed to a Hobby plan, you'll now be able to create and manage up to 10 templates on your account.
New 2048-bit dual CNAME keys for DKIM authentication
We now issue 2048-bit dual CNAME DKIM keys, replacing the 1024-bit single keys. The new keys are more difficult to decrypt, making them a more secure way to authenticate your emails. We've also introduced 2 keys instead of one, which allows us to rotate between the keys without downtime. All new domains will be issued the new keys, and we recommend that you migrate to these new DKIM records for your existing domains.
Payment via PayPal is now available
You can now pay for your MailerSend subscriptions and add-ons with your PayPal account. You can add PayPal as a payment method by going to the Billing tab on the Plan & billing page.
Stronger protection for SMTP credentials
We've tightened how SMTP credentials are handled behind the scenes. From now on, your password is shown to you only when it's first created. After that, it's stored securely and can't be retrieved or displayed again, giving your account an extra layer of protection.
