Navigating the dashboard
When you log in to your MailerSend account, you will see your dashboard, which provides an overview of your account activity.
To view the metrics from the Last week (last 7 days) or the Last month (last 30 days), you can use the toggle button in the top right corner of the metrics dashboard.
Emails
The Emails section shows metrics related to sent emails such as:
Total sent emails: The total number of emails that have been sent from your verified domains in MailerSend.
Open rate: The percentage of emails that have been opened
Click rate: The percentage of emails that resulted in a click on a link, button or image
Bounced: The percentage of emails that were not delivered to recipients
Reputation: Gives you the status of your account reputation. A healthy email account is one that has a good sender reputation and low bounce rates
Keep in mind that to be able to see the Open rate and Click rate metrics, tracking must be enabled for your chosen domains.
To enable tracking, go to the Domains page and click Manage for your chosen domain. Then, scroll down to Tracking details and toggle the Track opens and Track clicks options to On.
Domains
The Domains section provides various metrics related to your verified domains.
Number of verified domains: This number shows how many domains you have verified with MailerSend
Avg. webhook success rate: This metric illustrates the efficiency of your webhooks. It is calculated by dividing the number of successful calls to the endpoint by the total number of calls sent
Avg. Requests success rate: Refers to the average success rate of all API requests made from your verified domains. Specifically, how many times requests succeeded (2xx HTTP response code) per period
Avg. inbound routes success rate: This measure shows the average success rate of incoming messages in MailerSend. This is calculated by dividing the number of successful calls to the endpoint by the total number of calls sent
Avg. Limits reached: The average frequency at which rate limits have been reached per period. These limits refer to the HTTP status code 429 - "Too Many Requests,” which is a status code used to indicate that you have sent too many requests in a given amount of time and are temporarily being rate-limited by the server
SMS
Monitor the performance of your SMS communication with the following key metrics:
Total Sent SMS: The total number of SMS that have been sent from your account
Delivery Rate: The percentage of SMS messages that were successfully delivered to a recipient's device
Average Webhook Success Rate: This measure reflects the average percentage of successful webhook deliveries relating to SMS messages. It provides insight into the effectiveness of data transmissions from MailerSend to your specified endpoint. This is calculated by dividing the number of successful calls to the endpoint by the total number of calls sent
Average Inbound Routes Success Rate: The average success rate of receiving inbound SMS messages routed through your specified routes in MailerSend. This is also calculated by dividing the number of successful calls to the endpoint divided by the total number of calls sent
Email Verification
Track your email verification activity with the following metrics:
All verified lists: This reflects the total number of email lists you've successfully verified
Invalid emails: The percentage of email addresses in your lists that have been deemed invalid due to Do not send or Risky statuses
Total Credits: The total number of verification credits available in your account. Each credit allows you to verify one email address
