Complex Law is best known for high-volume financial claims work, where it manages cases at a scale that demands serious infrastructure behind the scenes. It uses email for almost all client communication, including case updates, information requests, and status notifications.
This is essential communication, and the business can't run without it. So when the domain started to get flagged on blocklists after increasing its sending volume, they needed to fix the issue fast.

Handling mass sends comfortably
While most of Complex Law's sending is steady transactional email, they occasionally use MailerSend’s bulk endpoint to send a mass email, for example, to alert all claimants in a group litigation order when there's a development in the case.
Sudden jumps in sending volume like this can trigger deliverability problems if you don’t have quality sending infrastructure in place, since inbox providers are suspicious of sharp sending spikes.
Because Complex Law is on one of MailerSend’s shared premium IPs, it doesn’t run into this issue. These IPs already process high email volumes, so they can easily handle sudden increases in sending.
The bulk endpoint handles those blasts comfortably alongside the steady background volume.
Boosting visibility by bringing analytics to their own platform
Sending a high volume of transactional emails generates a lot of data, and staying on top of this is essential for spotting issues early and maintaining a healthy sending environment.

He used the API and webhooks to build email analytics and tracking directly into the company's existing toolkit. This tracks email events in real time so staff can access sending information without logging into a separate tool.
