What’s the difference between Mailchimp and Mandrill?
Mailchimp on its own is an email marketing solution used for promotional emails, email marketing campaigns and email newsletters. Mandrill was a separate email API service for sending transactional emails that later became a paid add-on for Mailchimp’s email marketing platform. Mandrill is now more commonly known as Mailchimp transactional email.
